Mark and I wanted to update you on Eli. We just got back from the doctor's office to confirm whether or not he has Single Umbilical Artery. After an hour long visit, 2 ultrasounds, and sweating bullets (it was HOT in there), they confirmed that he does in fact have this condition. The most common difficulty related to this has to do with the kidneys. Eli has both of his kidneys and the doctor said he knows that they're working because there was urine in his bladder. Eli is also growing and measuring right on track (22 weeks).
While we were hoping he wouldn't have SUA, God has shown us His mercy in allowing Eli to have both his kidneys and for them to be working. We truly appreciate all your prayers. Thank you.
