Happy 2nd Birthday, Anna.
We love you!
-- Mommy, Daddy, and Eli
I know that your second year of life has been plum full of memorable events. Most notably, becoming a big sister. While you weren't sure of Eli to begin with, it didn't take you long to realize he could be your best buddy. You quickly took to trying to feed him, which resulted in him choking on raw potato, biscuits, and small toys that could fit in his mouth. You learned that instead of being told no, it was fun to fervently tell him "No!" for every little thing he does.
You tried new things - like taking a bite out of my deodorant, playing in the toilet with your tooth brush, trying to change yourself, and mimicking everything I do (minus the playing in the toilet part).
But most of all, you bring us such joy. It's such a blessing to wake up each morning to your smiling face, to hear you say "Tain too" (thank you), to pray before we eat, to hear you sing along when music is on, how you energetically want to play Ring Around the Rosie 100 times as if we didn't already just do it 99, how you ask where Daddy's at when he's at work, and when you say "I yub eww" (I love you). We're so blessed to have you and couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. Happy Birthday, Sweetie. We Love You!
